Scribner's - Students and educators are familiar with this literary criticism series in the print form. Now the full-text is available online. Scribner's offers the contents of thirteen sets of literary criticism, including American Writers. Scholars wrote and signed all 1,600 articles and each contains a bibliography.

Nexis - Searches must be performed by a Librarian at the library. Please ask for assistance at the Reference Desk. This database contains over 5,800 newspapers, magazines, transcripts, and wire services.
StatUSA - This is a Department of Commerce website containing the National Trade Data Bank (NTDB) and State of the Nation databases. You can search the NTDB for international market research, statistics, trade opportunities, and country analysis. You can find U.S. economic data and financial releases in State of the Nation.
EBSCO -This database has collections for different reading levels. Masterfile Elite is appropriate for high school students and above. This section has the full-text from almost 2,000 periodicals, including articles from Consumer Reports. You can also access the contents of the CIA World Factbook, World Almanac, and a collection called "Essential Documents of U.S. History". MAS Ultra is tailored to the needs of high school students. Middle Search contains articles appropriate for a middle school audience. Primary Search is designed especially for elementary school students with age-appropriate materials from periodicals. There are separate collections for business and health topics.

InfoTrac - This database has several collections. Custom Newspapers has the full-text articles from the Bergen Record, Star Ledger, New York Times, LA Times, and Times (London) going back a few years. The General Reference Center primarily consists of articles from general interest periodicals and some reference books. The General Business File and Business and Company Resource Center have business and company information. The Health collections have health topics from magazines, medical journals, and medical reference books. Literature Resource Center Literature Resource Center provides access to biographies, bibliographies, and critical analyses of authors from every age and literary discipline. Biography Resource Center lets you find biographical information based on name, birth and death year, nationality, ethnicity, occupation or gender.

ProQuest - You can find periodical articles, including the New York Times beginning in 1851.There is a broad range of subjects including arts, business, education, general interest, health, humanities, sciences, and social sciences. You can search by publication title and date thereby viewing all the articles in a particular issue. You can search with precision by indicating the type of article you want: feature article, interview, review, editorial, etc.

Biography Resource Center - This database contains more than 330,000 biographical entries from nearly 80 sources, covering nearly 220,000 people. Biography Resource Center also includes full-text articles from hundreds of periodicals. You can search for people based on one or more personal facts such as birth and death year, nationality, ethnicity, occupation or gender, or combine criteria to create a highly-targeted custom search. There are links to more than 9,000 relevant websites and more than 20,000 portraits.

Reference USA - This is a directory of U.S. and Canadian companies and residential listings. It is searchable by company name, business size, yellow page heading, geography, and more.
